Warehouse Clerk

An exciting opportunity exists within the Distribution and Facilities team for a WAREHOUSE CLERK.

Duties Include

To co-ordinate the order fulfillment process to ensure that orders are filled and are delivered according to customers’ requirements.
To receive, store and issue merchandise and to ensure accurate records are maintained on all stock movements in and out of the Warehouse.
To ensure the safe custody of stock by ensuring minimum pilferage and proper rotation.
To ensure warehouse is kept in a clean, tidy and orderly fashion at all times.
Monitor the expiry dates on products and notify the Marketing/Sales Teams of all close-dated stock.
To work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor in supervising the Warehouse Department daily basis.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- A minimum of five (5) CXC’s including English Language and Mathematics.
- An Associate Degree in Business or related subject.
- Have strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
- Have proven problem-solving ability.
- Be a team player.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
- Be deadline driven with excellent time management skills.
- Be computer literate with a strong background in information technology particularly with accounting software, Microsoft Word and Excel – knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
- One (1) year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
