Undurraga

Between 1879 and 1883 Francisco Undurraga Vicuña began planning the vineyard project. He hires a cooper in France to build the Fudres and the winegrower M. Pressac, both French. The Founder bought the wood in which the weapons came from the Chilean army to fight in the Pacific War. The wood was oak and came from Bosnia and he used it to assemble the Fudres with which he started the company.
