General Worker

We are seeking to recruit a hard-working, self-motivated, mature individual with an eye for detail to join our Warehouse Team as a General Worker.

Duties

· Assisting in the receiving, handling, storage, and picking of inventory.

· Delivering excellent customer service.

· Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment.

· Loading trucks with goods for transport, as required.

· Assisting drivers, porters and truck assistants as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· A minimum of two (2) CXCs including English Language and Mathematics.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Reliability, integrity and a strong, positive work ethic.

· The ability to quickly absorb product knowledge.

· Strong numerical skills.

· Proficiency in the use of information technology.

· Good physical strength and the ability to bear loads with a minimum weight of forty (40) pounds.

· Capability of functioning in cold environments for extended periods.

· Flexibility to work outside normal hours of work as may be required.

· The ability to work individually and as part of a team.

· Experience in operating a forklift would be an asset.
