Acado (Barbados) Limited is a leader in the marketing and distribution of fast-moving consumer goods, handling a wide range of consumer products and representing leading regional and international brands.  We are focused on building and maintaining an innovative, engaged team culture.

We are seeking to recruit a highly numerate, self-motivated, commercially-focused Accounts Clerk for our Finance team.

Duties

  • Ensuring the company is aware of its financial obligations to vendors and service providers and ensuring these obligations are honoured in a timely manner.
  • Providing financial, clerical and administrative services to support efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts in the assigned portfolio.
  • Supporting the cash management, general ledger management and financial reporting objectives of the organisation while adhering to the financial and administrative procedures set out by the Company.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Possess an Associate Degree in Accounting
  • Have at least three (3) years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Be computer literate with knowledge of accounting software packages, Microsoft Word and Excel working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work outside of normal working hours, including weekends as may be required.
